Nine Tree Myeongdong II stands on Mareunnae-ro in Jung-gu, a short walk from Euljiro 3-ga Station, where Lines 2 and 3 cross.

Its draw for families is two rooms that sleep three: the Family Twin and the Standard Triple. Neither is listed for four guests.

Name check: this is Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Myeongdong II at 28 Mareunnae-ro. It is not Nine Tree Myeongdong I (51 Myeongdong 10-gil), Nine Tree Insadong, or Nine Tree Dongdaemun, so match the address on your booking page.

Why consider this hotel

The hotel describes its setting as central Seoul and the trendy Hipjiro area, with Euljiro and Myeongdong close by. Hipjiro is a nickname for Euljiro's revived retro cafés and small workshops.

For a family, the appeal is practical more than scenic. Two subway lines are within a short walk, the family rooms sleep three, and the building has laundry and storage that a longer trip tends to need.

It is a city hotel, not a resort. The facilities listed are a fitness room, a lobby convenience store, and a restaurant, and no pool is listed.

Family Twin or Standard Triple

Both rooms are listed for 3 guests. The difference is how the three people sleep.

Family TwinStandard Triple
Size listed25.9 to 30.4 m²26.5 to 34.9 m²
Beds1 double (1,600 x 2,000 mm) and 1 single (1,200 x 2,000 mm)3 single beds (1,100 x 2,000 mm each)
Guests listed33
BathroomBathtub or shower boothBathtub or shower booth
SuitsTwo people sharing the double plus one on the singleThree people who each want their own bed

Choose the Family Twin if two people are happy to share a double bed. A parent with a child, or two parents with one child, fits this layout.

Choose the Standard Triple if everyone wants a separate bed, such as three adults, teens, or friends. Its single beds are 1,100 mm wide, narrower than the 1,200 mm single in the Family Twin, so tall travelers should weigh that.

The size ranges are wide because the hotel lists one range per category. Your assigned room can sit anywhere in it, and a category name does not guarantee a floor, a view, or the larger end of the range.

Both pages list the same in-room items: a refrigerator, a kettle, free tea and coffee, bottled water, a safe, Wi-Fi, a bidet, bathrobes, and a hair dryer. A baby crib, humidifier, and air purifier are listed as options that need a prior request, and the pages do not say whether they cost extra or how many are available.

Rates and availability are shown on Agoda.

Four or more guests

The pages checked list a maximum of 3 guests for both rooms and say nothing about extra beds or free child occupancy. Do not assume four adults, or three adults and a child, can share one room.

For a group of four or more, enter the real number of adults and children in Agoda and read what it offers. If nothing fits, two rooms or a different hotel is the safer plan.

Longer-stay conveniences

The hotel is not a serviced apartment. Rooms have a refrigerator and a kettle but no kitchen, and the microwave is shared.

Facility details below come from the hotel's guest guide as read on October 25, 2026, and the guide carries no update date. Confirm anything you plan around.

  • Coin laundry. On the third basement level, open 24 hours. The guide lists ₩4,000 to wash, ₩4,000 to dry, and ₩1,000 for detergent.
  • Self-service lockers. Also on B3, free for up to 12 hours per use. They help in the gap between check-out at 12:00 and a late flight.
  • Refresh Zone. On floors 3 to 17, open 24 hours, with a shared microwave, water dispenser, and ironing and steaming equipment, as in the booking card photo.
  • Convenience store. A GS25 in the lobby, open 24 hours, beside a Business Corner with computers and a printer.
  • Fitness room. On the 18th floor, open 07:00 to 22:00 for guests 13 and over.

A five-night stay is workable with these. One laundry run in the middle of the trip lets a family pack lighter, and the lobby store covers late snacks and basics.

Parking is paid at ₩15,000 per night, and spaces are limited, so ask before you drive. The luggage storage guide covers other options for the hours around check-in and check-out.

Breakfast and dining

La Matinee on the 2nd floor serves an American breakfast buffet from 07:00 to 10:00, with last order at 09:30. The guide lists ₩30,000 for walk-in guests and ₩24,000 for hotel guests, and it also lists a lunch buffet.

Do not assume breakfast is included in your rate. Agoda shows whether a rate has it, and on a family trip the buffet cost adds up quickly.

Lounge 9 is on the 18th floor, run by an outside operator, and open Monday to Saturday 18:00 to 24:00. It is closed on Sundays.

Dietary needs. The pages checked do not describe halal certification, vegetarian options, or allergen handling. Muslim travelers, vegetarians, and guests with allergies should ask the restaurant directly.

Location: Myeongdong or Euljiro

The hotel's own pages place it by Euljiro 3-ga Station rather than Myeongdong Station. Its directory gives 254 meters, about 4 minutes, from Exit 11, and its guest guide says about 5 minutes, so plan for 4 to 5.

Euljiro 3-ga is on Lines 2 and 3, which gives an east-west and a north-south subway line close to the door. The T-money guide explains the card that covers subway and bus fares.

The hotel's pages do not give a walking time to Myeongdong Station or the shopping streets. Check a map app for the current route and time, especially with a stroller.

Getting from Incheon Airport

The hotel's directory lists airport limousine bus 6015, getting off at Euljiro 2-ga (Pine Avenue), about 5 minutes on foot. That stop is not at the front door, so expect a short walk with luggage.

The pages checked do not state the current fare or which side of the road the stop is on. Check the operator's page, and see the airport to Seoul guide for the other options.

By train, the hotel's guest guide describes two routes. One is the all-stop AREX train to Hongik University Station, then Line 2 to Euljiro 3-ga. The other is AREX to Seoul Station, then Line 4 to Chungmuro Station and a walk of about 7 minutes from Exit 6.

The AREX Express runs nonstop to Seoul Station, so only the second route works on it. A taxi is the door-to-door choice with several bags, and you can show the driver 서울특별시 중구 마른내로 28.

The hotel's guide says no airport bus runs from Gimpo Airport to the hotel. From Gimpo, use a route app for the subway or take a taxi.

Nearby for families

Myeongdong's shopping streets, snack stalls, and cosmetics shops are the nearest large attraction. The Myeongdong guide covers the area and its food, and the Myeongdong shopping guide explains how the stores work.

Cheonggyecheon stream is also in central Seoul, and the Cheonggyecheon guide describes a walk along it. The pages checked give no walking time from the hotel to either place, so use a map app.

Who should choose this hotel

Families of three. The Family Twin or Standard Triple fits one room, and the laundry helps on a longer trip.

Groups of three. The Standard Triple gives each person a separate bed.

Three to seven night stays. Laundry, luggage lockers, and a shared microwave cover the practical needs.

Subway-first visitors. Two lines are close, and the airport bus stops a short walk away.

Groups of four in one room. The two rooms here are listed for three, so look for a room with a four-guest limit or book two rooms.

Visitors who want Myeongdong at the door. A hotel next to Myeongdong Station saves walking, and the L7 Myeongdong guide covers one on Line 4.

Travelers weighing other areas. The Seoul areas guide compares the main bases.

What to check before booking

Room category and occupancy. Match the bed layout to your group, and enter real adult and child counts in Agoda.

Rate inclusions. Breakfast, cancellation terms, and any extras differ by rate.

Crib or humidifier. These are prior-request items, so ask the hotel in advance if you need them.

Facility details. Laundry prices, locker rules, and hours can change, so confirm anything you plan around.

Taxes and fees. Compare the final payable total, not a nightly headline price.
